PATHpoints
Vermont Education Health Initiative (VEHI) PATHpoints is a comprehensive wellness program designed to help VEHI's school employee customers to reduce health risks and to help school districts build sustainable infrastructure to promote safer and healthier school environments. VEHI PATHpoints provides your employees with state-of-the-art health management and productivity programs that address behavior change, culture, and health care consumerism and adds financial incentives for school employees and for the school district/supervisory union as a whole.
PATHpoints helps your employees identify and respond appropriately to health risk factors through completing the Healthy Life Survey, an health-risk assessment tool and participating in any of the following activities: the 10-week PATH Adventure, the PATH every day calendar, lifestyle coaching, nurse coaching, peer coaching and the Employee Assistance Program.
Employees who accumulate enough PATHpoints will receive a check as a tangible reward for their efforts to become healthier at the end of the school year. VEHI will match every individual's financial incentive with an equal contribution to his or her SU or school district to further employee wellness programs.
All school districts and supervisory unions who participate in PATHPoints are required to identify a VEHI School Health Champion and a Wellness Team to oversee this initiative and to create and implement short and long-term action plan. VSBIT provides ongoing technical assistance and professional development to the school health champions and the school wellness teams.
