What is PATH?
PATH, Planned Action Toward Health, is VEHI's Health Promotion and Wellness Program for Vermont School Employees. VEHI purchases health benefits for Vermont school districts. The healthier the staff, the lower the health insurance rates! VEHI provides PATH to its members as a customer service tool to help improve and maintain the health of Vermont school staff..

PATH's Mission:
The VEHI PATH Program is established to help member schools develop and implement health education programs that offer strategies and resources for school staff to make informed choices regarding health care and wellness.

The Idea Behind it all:
The hope is that PATH provides customer service and consumer education to its members and that members then feel cared for and thus committed to quality education and healthy living. In the long run, schools with healthy, resilient staff stand a greater chance of being productive, at lower risk and of cutting costs.
